Picnic Locations

We’re dedicated to making your picnic truly special, and the location plays a big role in creating the perfect experience. Whether it’s your own backyard, a meaningful spot for your celebration, or one of our favorite local parks, we’re happy to work with you to find the ideal setting for your picnic.

Bethel Park

4500 Bethel St Columbia, MO 65203

This 40-acre park features a fishing pond, scenic trails, open fields, and a playground. A popular picnic spot overlooks the lake, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting for any gathering.

Stephens Lake Park

2001 E Broadway, Columbia, MO, United States

Stephens Lake Park is the crown jewel of Columbia’s park system and is known for its 11-acre fishing/swimming lake, mature trees, and historical significance in the community. It serves as the center for outdoor winter sports, a variety of community festivals, and outdoor concert series at the amphitheater. It has reservable shelters, playgrounds, swimming beach and spray grounds, art sculpture, waterfalls, and walking trails.

Cherry Hill Square

Cherry Hill Drive, Columbia Mo 65203

The square is landscaped to look like a park. A small waterfall, different trees and well-kept grass are meant to be inviting. Occasionally, music can be heard from the nearby studio apartments.

Near Christmas, the village is known for The Magic Tree. The tree is completely lit by Christmas lights and surrounded by people taking pictures with friends and family.

Each year we set up heated Bubble Tents at The Magic Tree for fun festive picnic celebrations.
