Dear CoMo Picnics family and friends,

Every great story has an ending. I’m a sucker for Hallmark movies (honestly a LOT of picnic inspiration have come from my favorite Hallmark movies). It’s with so many emotions that I am announcing the ending of CoMo Picnics at the end of 2024. I’m so honored to have been the one to bring this novel concept to life here in mid-Missouri. There have been so many fantastic clients to work alongside, designs created, locations used and occasions celebrated. We’ve used clients ATVs to transport a picnic to a tucked away location, been onto Faurot Field to set-up tents and witnessed the most precious marriage proposals. Each one of these moments are so dear to me and it’s been a treasure to be a part of so many amazing life celebrations.

The decision to close CoMo Picnics hasn’t been easy. I’ve been so torn as this was the business idea that built our mother company, Andrea Lyn Events. I’ve poured hours into accumulating all the inventory, creating designs with our team and seeing the smiles of each picnic client enjoying the beauty of a luxury picnic. But, even with this love for the luxury picnic business concept I have been challenged to “do one thing and do it well”. The last year has shown me the pathway I should take and sadly CoMo Picnics just wasn’t a part of the path. With this realization we chose that the best decision was to take our final bow as a business with Christmas at the Magic Tree picnics during December while doing fall picnics in October and November. 

So, book your final picnics these last months until December 29th. - No…we won’t be able to do NYE picnics this year as we’ll be celebrating a much-anticipated wedding of a staff member! - We’re excited to make this year’s Christmas picnics the best ever - I’ve poured my soul into the design. Each picnic will have a brand new curated basket of activities to do and the Homespun Christmas design is from my Tennessee ancestry featuring dried fruits from my kitchen. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I want to celebrate it well with each of you and your families. Let’s make those memories!

To each of my past clients - thank you. Truly, it means so much to me that you’ve entrusted me with your celebrations and gatherings. Knowing that you were able to make memories through my team’s creativity is incredible. This journey has been memorable and I’ll be able to look back fondly to this season with joy thanks to each of you.
